My Story

 

Hello! My name is Barbara Galipo, and I live in Simi Valley, California. I have been baking most of my life and I create delicious treats with less sugar. Growing up was difficult as my parents divorced when I was a child and I lost my mom Carol to breast cancer in 1982. She was just 36 years old. During this time, I had an eating disorder. My family would sometimes call me "Porky" but my sister called me "Peka" and the name stuck. I have an incredibly supportive family who is always willing to help (especially when it comes to tasting the goodies)! I have worked in the Entertainment Industry for the past 30 years and decided it was time to quit and become a full time baker! Some of my other hobbies include creating flower arrangements and catering for small parties. Please review my menu and photos. I am very creative and confident I can make anything you want.
